Knoxville, TN : 53-year-old Seatbolt died in a two vehicle crash on Highway 11 in east Knox County on Tuesday night, April 28, 2015

A man on his motorcycle was killed when another vehicle pulled out in front of him.

An accident report put out by Tennessee Highway Patrol states Carl Seatbolt Jr. was traveling southbound on Highway 11 on his motorcycle around 8:30 Tuesday night. Troopers say 54-year-old Regina Taylor pulled out of the Roberts Rd intersection in her Volkswagon Jetta. Seatbolt was not able to stop and slammed into the drivers side door.

53-year-old Seatbolt died as a result of the accident. Taylor was injured in this accident. Right now it is unknown if either of the drivers involved were impaired by drugs or alcohol. Criminal charges are pending on recommendation of the Knox County District Attorney's office.
