A Rawson woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash Friday morning at the intersection of Ohio 12 and Liberty Township 139, near Liberty-Benton Elementary School.
The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office said Roger Brim, 73, of Rawson, and his passenger, Beatrice Brim, 75, were driving east on Ohio 12 in a 2011 Chrysler about 11:52 a.m. when a 2014 Chevrolet driven by James Nelms, 64, of Findlay, pulled out in front of them after stopping for a stop sign. Nelms was northbound on Liberty Township 139, the sheriff’s office said.
Beatrice Brim was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital by Hanco EMS.
Nelms was cited for failure to yield from a stop sign, the sheriff’s office said.
Assisting at the accident scene were the Liberty Township Fire Department and Miller’s Towing.
