Hart County, KY : 3 Indianapolis residents killed in crash on Interstate 65 in Hart County on Thursday, 23rd April, 2020
Three Indianapolis residents were killed Thursday when their vehicle hit the back of a semitruck on Interstate 65 in Hart County, Kentucky, according to police.
A preliminary investigation found that a Chevrolet Silverado hit the back of the tractor-trailer about 5:40 p.m. Thursday near mile marker 70 on I-65 North, Kentucky State Police said in a news release.
Dantarance Hobert, 38, was driving the Chevy and was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash near Bonnieville, while a passenger in his vehicle, 27-year-old Ontaria Gilbert, also died at the scene, according to state police.
Two other passengers in Hobert's vehicle, 25-year-old Kenneth Lewis and 29-year-old Dominique Qualls, were taken to Hardin Memorial Hospital and then to University of Louisville Hospital, where Lewis later died, police said.
