Three first responders were injured while working a crash Saturday night in Hendersonville.
Officials told News 2 it happened at 8:20 p.m. at the intersection of New Shackle Island Road and Drakes Creek Road.
According to the preliminary report, 52-year-old Calvin Emmanuel II was driving north when traffic stopped due to an accident.
He reportedly backed up and hit a car before using a southbound lane to drive around northbound traffic.
State troopers say Emmanuel then sideswiped another car before running over the foot of Firefighter Michael Moore as he was trying to get him to slow down.
Officials told News 2 Emmanuel kept going and hit an ambulance with its emergency lights on before he finally stopped.
Summer County Deputy Michelle Scott was standing behind the ambulance when she was hit, and EMT worker Ricky Slack was thrown out of the ambulance and onto the pavement as he was treating a patient.
Everyone involved is expected to be OK.
Emmanuel has been charged with driving on a suspended license.
Th crash is being investigated as a possible medically-related incident.
