Castro Valley, CA : CHP investigating fatal crash on I-580 on Wednesday, 2nd December, 2020

One person died in a crash on eastbound Interstate 580 in Castro Valley on Wednesday, the California Highway Patrol said.
Details of the of the crash were not available immediately, but the CHP said the crash happened in the eastbound direction on the Grove Way exit around 12:04 p.m.
The eastbound lanes were clear by 2:30, and there was no traffic alert in effect.
