ARLINGTON, VA : One arrested after fatal vehicle crash in Arlington on Saturday, 12th October 2024

Officers from the Arlington Police Department arrested a juvenile after a fatal vehicle crash early this morning on Saturday.

Authorities reported 18-year-old Brooks Bare, of Arlington, has been charged with: DUI/Involuntary Manslaughter and Breath/Blood Test Refusal.

At around 1:58 a.m., police and fire crews responded to a report of a single vehicle crash at the 2200 block of N. Harrison Street. On the scene, officers analyzed the area, and medics rendered aid to a passenger suffering from life-threatening injuries. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital and was later pronounced dead. The deceased has been identified as 19-year-old Nicholas Rados, of Arlington.
