Omaha, NE : One person serious injuries in five-vehicle collision on Interstate 80 on Wednesday October 5 2016

The five-vehicle collision that tied up westbound traffic on Interstate 80 during this evening's rush hour, sent only one person to the hospital with serious injuries.

The crash on I-80 near Q Streets brought some lanes of westbound traffic to a standstill Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.

Douglas County emergency dispatchers said the crash was reported at 5:32 p.m. The individual taken to Bergan Mercy hospital, sustained injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
