SALISBURY, MD : New York man dies in Salisbury crash along Route 44 on Tuesday, 2nd October 2018

A Long Island, N.Y. man whose vehicle left the roadway and crashed into trees Tuesday night along Route 44 during a heavy rainstorm was declared dead at the scene.

Vito Telesco, 75, of Mahopac, N.Y. was eastbound along Route 44 just east of Twin Lakes Road in Salisbury at about 8:30 p.m. when the 2018 Nissan Rogue he was driving crossed over the westbound land and crashed into trees off the north side of the highway, state police said.
