WINDHAM, ME : A two-car crash on River Road on Tuesday, October, 24th 2017

Two people were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries Tuesday evening after a two-car crash on River Road, according to a press release from the Windham Police Department.

A pickup truck was travelling northbound on River Road when it crossed the center line and hit a Toyota Yaris travelling southbound, according to the press release.

The road was closed for nearly two hours while the Windham Fire Department worked to remove one of the drivers from the vehicle.

The crash remains under investigation.
