Ravenna, OH : Two vehicles involved in a head-on crash on May, Sunday, 14th 2017

The drivers of two vehicles involved in a head-on crash near the intersection of S.R. 88 and Peck Road in Ravenna on Sunday were transported to University Hospitals Portage Medical Center.

Both were treated for non life-threatening injuries after the driver of one vehicle failed to yield on Peck Road, pulled out into traffic on S.R. 88 and was struck by an oncoming vehicle, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol

The Ravenna City and Ravenna Township fire departments responded to the crash.

Highway Patrol described the incident as a “minor accident.” Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

No incident report has been filed by the Highway Patrol, and representatives from the Ravenna Township Fire Department could not be reached for comment.
