pedestrian was hit and killed by a car on Orange Blossom Trail Tuesday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash happened shortly before 3 a.m. near 36th Street. Charlene Haywood, 31, was driving southbound when the unidentified pedestrian walked in front of her vehicle, FHP spokeswoman Lt. Kim Montes said.
