Gotha, FL : Oviedo man dies in single-vehicle crash near Gotha on Wednesday, 3rd October 2018

30-year-old Oviedo man died Wednesday after he slammed his SUV into a stop sign near Gotha, according to Florida Highway Patrol troopers.

Albert Newton was driving north on Apopka Vineland Road when he went off the road and hit a stop sign at Lexington View Lane.

He was taken to the hospital where he died.

The crash remains under investigation.
