Orlando, FL : Motorcycle rider killed in crash on SR-50 in Orlando on May 25, 2014

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash on Colonial that happened around 3 a.m. Sunday morning.

According to the police report, Harold Novella, 26, Orlando, was traveling eastbound on Colonial Drive, the left-turn lane.

Robert Carr, 25, Orlando, was traveling westbound on Colonial Drive in the left through lane.

Troopers say Novella attempted a left turn onto Forsythe Road and collided with Carr's motorcycle.

The front of Carr's Honda motorcycle impacted the side of the Novella's 2003 Chevy van.

Troopers currently have no witnesses, and are trying to determine who had the right of way.
