WOBURN, MA : Woman pleads not guilty in fatal crash on Tuesday, 10th July 2018

A Massachusetts woman charged with causing a fatal crash while driving under the influence of prescription drugs has pleaded not guilty.

The Lowell Sun reports that 51-year-old Lynn DeWolfe, of Tyngsborough, pleaded not guilty Tuesday to motor vehicle homicide in the death of 42-year-old Christopher Weisz, of Bedford.

Prosecutors say DeWolfe was taking anxiety and pain medications on Aug. 24, 2017 when other motorists called state police about her erratic driving. One trooper allowed DeWolfe to continue driving after she was involved in a crash.

Prosecutors say DeWolfe later struck a car on Interstate 95 in Reading that collided with Weisz’s motorcycle.
