Secaucus, NJ : Driver killed when delivery truck crashes on NJ Turnpike on Tuesday, May 12, 2015

A delivery truck driver was killed when his vehicle overturned on the New Jersey Turnpike.

State police say the truck overturned around 6:30 a.m. Tuesday in a southbound lane near the Interchange 17E ramp in Secaucus. The driver, who was alone in the truck, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. It did not appear that any other vehicles were involved in the accident.

The driver's name has not been released pending notification of relatives.

The crash caused travel delays in the area for most of the morning.
