Cass County, MN : Backus man injured in single-vehicle crash on Highway 200 east of Walker on Sunday, June 26, 2016

A Backus man was injured June 25 when his car left Highway 200 east of Walker and hit two trees.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Brian L. Scott, 54, was westbound on Hwy. 200 around 8:30 a.m., driving a 2006 Nissan Sentra, when the Nissan left the road near 39th Ave. NW, and hit two trees.

Scott was transported to North Memorial Hospital, Robbinsdale, with non-life-threatening injuries. The airbag deployed; he was not wearing a seatbelt and no alcohol was involved.

The Cass County Sheriff's Office assisted at the scene.
