A driver who slammed into a tree with his truck was seriously injured Saturday night.
The operator was trapped in his Dodge Dakota pickup truck after crashing into the tree at about 10:55 p.m. near 170 Jensen Road, police said.
Belchertown Fire Department responded and freed the victim using the Jaws of Life. The man suffered injuries to his legs, face and chest and was brought to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield by ambulance, police said.
