Troy, MI : Driver extricated from vehicle after rollover crash on I-75 near the Livernois overpass Tuesday afternoon, December 13, 2016

A driver had to be extricated from their vehicle in Troy Tuesday afternoon following a rollover accident on southbound I-75 near the Livernois overpass.

The Troy Fire Department responded to the scene around 3:24 p.m. to find a vehicle rolled over in the median with one occupant inside. After stabilizing the vehicle and determining that there was no leaking fuel or any other safety hazards, firefighters were able to disentangle the victim and remove them from the vehicle without incident.

The driver was treated at the seen for minor injuries by paramedics from Alliance Mobile Health.

Troy police and Michigan State Police are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
