EUSTIS, FL : A motorcyclist was killed on Sunday, May 28, 2017

A motorcyclist was killed Sunday morning after running into one of the bikes he was traveling with in a three-vehicle crash.

Travis Detrick, 38, of Debary, died at the scene.

The crash occurred about 11:45 a.m. Sunday on County Road 44A, near Thrill Hill Road in Eustis as the group was traveling together east.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Detrick was riding his Suzuki behind the group and when he tried to catch up, he ran into another Suzuki driven by Ricardo Santiago, 23, of Deltona.

Santiago was pushed into the back of another Suzuki ridden by Elias Santiago Rivera, 27, also of Deltona, and both sustained minor injuries.
