A motorcyclist was killed in northern Wisconsin in a collision with a bear, in Milwaukee reported Monday. Gary Stevens, 50, of Bowler died at a hospital after the crash, reported Sunday on State Highway 64 near Hill Road near Antigo, according to a story posted on the station's website. The Wisconsin Department of Transportation said it has never seen such a crash on a well-traveled highway before, according to the station. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, which often issues alerts about deer-car collisions, said bear vs. motorcycle crashes are rare, the station reported.
