Waterbury, VT : Three students injured in school bus crash on I-89 Thursday morning, Oct 8, 2015
Three students were taken to a hospital after a school bus crash Thursday morning on Interstate 89.
Vermont State Police said three vehicles were involved in the crash in Waterbury just before 9 a.m.
According to investigators, a Twinfield Union School bus driver failed to yield to slowing traffic and caused a chain-reaction crash.
The school bus struck a car, which then rear-ended another driver.
State police said 23 students and six adults were on the bus at the time of the crash. Three students were taken to the hospital after complaining of neck injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
