Las Vegas, NV : Man pulling shopping cart hit, killed by pickup truck Sunday night, November 2, 2014

A man pulling a metal shopping cart across Bonanza Road was hit and killed by a pickup truck Sunday night, Metro Police reported. The man was crossing the street about 7:30 p.m. east of Lamb Boulevard when he was hit by the Chevrolet S-10 pickup, which was headed east on Bonanza, police said. The pedestrian, a 53-year-old Las Vegas man, was not in a crosswalk, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, a 77-year-old Las Vegas man, was not injured, police said.
