SUMTER COUNTY, SC : 1 dead, 1 airlifted to hospital after Sumter County crash on Wednesday, 25th September 2024

One person is dead and another is injured following a car crash in Sumter County.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol (SCHP) said the crash happened at around 4:15 p.m. on Pinewood Road.
Troopers said a 2015 GMC Arcadia was traveling south on Pinewood Road before colliding with a 2022 Ford F150 pickup truck traveling north on Pinewood Road.
The Ford F150 traveled off the right side of the roadway and hit a ditch, according to SCHP. The driver was the only person inside the vehicle and died on the scene.
