Butte, MT : 32-year-old Bozeman man died and 21-year-old Bozeman woman injured in a one-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 287 south of Ennis on Sunday morning, Nov 8, 2015
A Bozeman man who died in a one-car crash 26 miles south of Ennis Sunday morning has been identified as Joseph Cure, 32, according to Montana Highway Patrolman Jeff Sargent.
Also, a female passenger was taken by air ambulance to Bozeman Deaconess Hospital. Details on her condition are unavailable.
Traveling northbound on US Highway 287, the vehicle spun off the left side of the road and rolled several times. Cure died at the scene, Sargent said.
Madison County Sheriff Roger Thompson said the cause of death was blunt force trauma to the head.
“The road conditions were less than ideal,” said Sargent.
He said the call came is from Madison County at 10:25 a.m., and the crash occurred about 10:15 a.m.
The condition of the injured passenger is unclear.
