Two people were killed and two others were hospitalized early Sunday in a head-on vehicle collision in Lawrence.

The crash happened around 3 a.m. Sunday in the 7800 block of East 46th Street, police said.

According to Deputy Chief Gary Woodruff of the Lawrence Police Department, an eastbound vehicle and a westbound vehicle crashed when one of the vehicles crossed the center line. It is still unclear which vehicle crossed the line, police said.
