A pedestrian was struck and killed at about 6:10 p.m. Tuesday night on Albright Road in
Rock Hill.
The pedestrian, Bobby Whitlock, 48, was crossing the road near Eighth Street when he was hit by a vehicle.
Officers said the driver of that vehicle was the only occupant and was not injured.
Albright Road was shut down for hours during the investigation.
