Paragould,AR : One person killed in a Truck crash on Tuesday, August 4th 2015

A truck driver for Walmart died this week in what a Paragould detective called a “tragic accident.”

Corporal James Williams of the police department’s Criminal Investigation Division said the accident happened Tuesday on the Walmart parking lot, 2802 W. Kingshighway.

Williams said the driver “exited his truck to check the rear doors when the truck rolled backward over him.”

The driver’s wife was in the truck at the time of the accident, Williams said.

An investigation revealed there was no criminal intent.

“It was just a tragic accident,” Williams said.
