PLACER COUNTY, CA : Eastbound I-80 blocked after big rig crash near Soda Springs on Tuesday, 9th July 2024

A big rig driver has minor injuries after a crash on Tuesday along eastbound Interstate 80 near Soda Springs.

Traffic along eastbound I-80 is being diverted to Soda Springs because of an overturned big rig, according to California Highway Patrol. The crash is under investigation and it's unclear what caused the crash.
