A motorcycle crash has claimed the life of a Lake City man.
Florence County Coroner Keith von Lutcken said Victor McKenzie was pronounced dead at a local hospital following transport from the scene of the accident, which occurred on South Morris Street and Dogwood Lane in Lake City.
The crash occurred around 7:40 p.m. Saturday night, and it remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol and Florence County Coroner’s Office.
