FLORENCE, NY : Oneida Co. man killed in crash on April, Saturday 1st 2017

A Florence man was killed in a one-car accident Saturday afternoon, state police said.

At approximately 12:50 p.m., Cody R. Rocker, 26, was southbound on Florence Hill Road when he failed to negotiate a curve and collided with a mailbox and a tree, police said.

Rocker was pronounced deceased at the scene, officials said.

The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office, Florence Fire Department and Camden Ambulance also responde

The investigation is still ongoing at this time, police said.
