CHICAGO, IL : 2 Dead, 2 Seriously Injured After Car Falls on Friday, 12th February 2021

Two people died and two were seriously injured when a car fell off the Stevenson Expressway early Friday morning, and landed on the street below and hit a light tower near Ashland Avenue.

According to Illinois State Police, the driver of a red 2013 Hyundai Veloster was going “too fast for road conditions” while headed north on the Stevenson near Damen shortly after 4 a.m., and lost control of his vehicle. The vehicle struck a concrete barrier and then went over the wall.
