STAMFORD, CT : Emotions high at vigil for teens killed in car crash on Monday, 26th August 2019

Emotions were high Tuesday night, as friends and family of Ky-Mani Pollock gathered to remember the 19-year-old who died in a violent car crash early Monday morning.
Wilner Joseph, Pollock’s uncle, spoke at the vigil, which was organized to honor Pollock and NiShawn Tolliver, 18, another Stamford resident who died in the crash at the corner of Canal and Ludlow streets.
“It is so hard to see all these young faces out here during tragedy,” Joseph said, standing on Ludlow Street, only a few blocks away from where his nephew died. “We don’t want to be here. We should be here on a positive note. Now we got to bury two young men who lost their lives at a young age.”
