Sunol, CA : Man stopped in car on I-680 in Sunol pronounced dead Saturday afternoon, October 11, 2014

A man found in a stopped car that was blocking a lane of Interstate 680 in Sunol was pronounced dead Saturday afternoon. The man was found unresponsive on a stretch of highway near the Highway 84 connector, according to Eric Anderson, a California Highway Patrol officer. Officers responded at 3:10 p.m. “It wasn’t a traffic collision — the vehicle was in the lanes,” Anderson said. An ambulance was called and the man was pronounced dead.
