Concord, NH : One killed after Corvette crashes into guardrail on Route 106 in Concord on Tuesday, 29th September, 2020

One person was killed Tuesday and another seriously injured in a single-car crash on Route 106 in Concord.

The two adults were ejected from a 2001 black Chevrolet Corvette that was traveling south from Loudon into the Capital City, Concord Deputy Police Chief John Thomas said. The Corvette struck a guardrail and came to rest in a grassy area off the side of the state road.

“We don’t know what caused the accident at this point, but it’s likely speed was a factor,” Thomas said.

Thomas said experts in accident reconstruction were on scene Tuesday trying to piece together what happened. It’s too early in the investigation to know if the driver and sole passenger were wearing seatbelts, he said.
