Trenton ,UT : Four Utah State football players and former softball player hurt in collision with tractor-trailer on Friday ,June 26th 2015

Four Utah State University football players and a former softball player were hurt when a tractor-trailer collided with their SUV on Friday.

The Salt Lake Tribune reports (https://shar.es/1qvQdQ ) that witnesses say their Chevy Tahoe was eastbound on state Route 142 when it pulled in to the intersection with state Route 23 in Trenton and was T-boned by the southbound semi.

The Utah Highway Patrol says the semi, which was carrying 52,000 pounds of milk, struck the SUV on the driver's side and pushed it 75 yards.

Utah State identified the victims as Adewale Adeoye, Edmund Faimalo, John Taylor, Travis Seefeldt and former USU softball player Sarah Vasquez. They were hospitalized. Seefeldt and Vasquez were in critical condition.

The truck driver's condition was unknown.
