Deland, FL : 3-year-old boy died in a rollover crash on U.S. Highway 17 near DeLand on Thursday, June 25, 2015

A 3-year-old child is dead following a rollover crash in Deland Thursday morning, according to Florida Highway Patrol troopers.

Troopers said the child and a female adult were transported to Florida Hospital DeLand where the child died.

Troopers said the mother of the 3-year-old did not have a driver's license and the child was not properly restrained in the car.

All northbound lanes of Park Avenue (U.S. 17) are closed while troopers investigate the crash.
