Jefferson County, KS : Topeka man injured after a one-vehicle crash on US-59 highway near Oskaloosa on Monday morning, Oct 12, 2015
A Topeka man suffered disabling injuries early Monday morning after a one-vehicle crash in Jefferson County, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at 4:25 a.m. Monday on US-59 highway about 5.9 miles south of Oskaloosa.
The driver and lone occupant, Kyle Christopher Inscho, 25, wasn’t wearing a seat belt and was taken to the University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City, Kan., with undisclosed injuries.
According to the crash log, Inscho was driving a 2001 Hyundai Accent that skided on the southbound highway into a ditch, hitting a tree. The vehicle was stuck on its left side and a fire started as result.
