LEXINGTON, SC : Lexington Co. Coroner identifies man killed in collision on Augusta Road on Saturday, 21st November, 2020

The Lexington County Coroner’s Office has identified the man killed in a collision yesterday afternoon.
The accident occurred on the 2900 block of Augusta Road at approximately 4:30 p.m.
Officials say 26-year-old Cody Dean Laux was traveling eastbound on Augusta Road when he lost control of his vehicle, crossed the center line, and collided head-on with an oncoming vehicle.
Laux was pronounced deceased at the scene due to injuries sustained. He was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
The West Columbia Police Department is continuing to investigate.
