PARIS, IL : Marshall woman, passenger seriously injured in Edgar County crash on Thursday, 30th January, 2020

The driver and a 14-year-old passenger were transported to an area hospital by helicopter for treatment of serious injuries received in a single-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon.

According to Illinois State Police, a van driven by Shauna N. Campbell, 30, Marshall was traveling south on Illinois 49, approximately a half mile south of Edgar County Road 1800N, when it went off the roadway, into a ditch and overturned. The accident occurred at 4:44 p.m.

Campbell was cited for improper lane usage and operating and uninsured motor vehicle.
