Pala, CA: One killed in Three-car hit-and-run crash along I-15 on Wednesday, August 5th 2015

A drive was killed in a crash Wednesday morning near Pala Mesa.The crash along Old Highway 395 at Interstate 15 was reported to the California Highway Patrol shortly before 5:30 a.m.A caller told authorities one of the three vehicles involved in the crash fled the scene, and someone was later detained at a Mobil gas station near Fallbrook, according to the CHP’s online traffic incident information log.At least one person involved in the crash was taken to a hospital, a North County fire dispatcher said.
