Longwood, FL : Corey Allicock, 28, of Orlando, died after car collided with a Seminole County sheriff's deputy cruiser on Saturday, December 12, 2015
A passenger in a car that collided with a Seminole County sheriff's deputy cruiser Saturday has died.
Authorities with the Florida Highway Patrol said Corey Allicock, 28, of Orlando, died Sunday at Orlando Regional Medical Center.
His family said Corey Allicock called an Uber driver to get him from a Christmas party.
Investigators said that vehicle hit the deputy's cruiser on State Road 434 at Ronald Regan Boulevard in Longwood. They said one of the vehicles should have stopped at the red light, but they're not sure which one ran the traffic signal.
The deputy, Scott Sullivan, was treated for minor injuries. The 73-year-old Uber suffered serious injuries and was hospitalized.
"We have nothing against anyone here, we just want to know what happened to our son," Corey's father Allan Allicock told WESH 2.
The crash remains under investigation.
