COMSTOCK PARK, MI : One dead after US-131 crash, highway shutdown for nearly two-hours on Saturday, 4th November 2023

One person is dead after a crash on north-bound U-S 131 shut down the highway for nearly two-hours.

Michigan State Police was on the scene between West River and Post Drive around 8 p.m. Saturday.

Troopers say a vehicle ran off the roadway into the median and hit a tree.

An 82-year-old male died on scene and his 80-year-old female passenger has minor injuries.
