GASTON COUNTY, NC : Man pleads guilty to crashing Jeep into restaurant killing 2 family members on Monday, 25th January 2021

The man accused of driving his Jeep into a Bessemer City restaurant, killing two family members in May 2018, pleaded guilty Monday on two second-degree murder charges.

Roger Self and his family went to the Surf and Turf Lodge on North 14th Street after attending church.

Roger Self got up from the table and left the restaurant. That is when police said he plowed the Jeep into the popular eatery where his family was sitting.
