Marshall, MO : 1-vehicle crash results in injuries in Saline County on February, Tuesday 27th 2018

A one-vehicle accident occurred at U.S. Highway 65 and 195th road on Tuesday, Feb. 27, at approximately 12:30 p.m. The Marshall Fire Department assisted the Saline County Ambulance District in transporting one person to Fitzgibbon Hospital, according to MFD Captain Corbin Allred. Allred said the driver of the vehicle hit the back of a truck hauling anhydrous tanks, as the truck was pulling into a driveway off of U.S. Highway 65. MFD inspected the anhydrous tanks, and reported no leaks were found. “It bent the frame up on one of them pretty good,” Allred said about one of the anhydrous tanks. “It absorbed quite a bit of impact ... but no valves were broken.” More information will be available upon release of official report.
