WENATCHEE, WA : Head-on crash in Wenatchee ends in injury alcohol or drugs suspected on Sunday, 20th October 2024

A head-on crash in Wenatchee has left one person injured.

The incident happened around 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, when a car traveling east on State Route 28 crossed into oncoming traffic, colliding with a westbound semi-truck.Washington State Patrol officers reported that the driver of the car involved in the crash was transported to Central Washington Hospital. The current condition of the driver remains unknown.

Officials have stated that drugs or alcohol were contributing factors in the accident. Details regarding any further investigations have not been released.
