Paulding County, GA : 1 dead in Paulding County crash on County Road 144 just east of Township Road 83 on Tuesday, 25th December 2018

One person is dead and three others were injured in a late night crash on Christmas Day, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said Wednesday.

Just before midnight Tuesday, the Highway Patrol's Van Wert post was called to a fatal crash on County Road 144 just east of Township Road 83 in Paulding County.

A man was driving his car west on County Road 144 when it struck the back of a farm tractor headed in the same direction, the highway patrol said in a news release.

The driver of the car was flown to Parkview Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.

The front seat passenger of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. The two rear seat passengers were taken to Paulding Hospital, then transported to Parkview Regional Medical Center for additional treatment, the release said.

The driver of the farm tractor, Francis Magg, 46, of Paulding Ohio, was not injured.

The crash is under investigation.
