Portland, OR : Two people injured when car crashes into pole along I-205 in NE Portland on Sunday, March 22, 2015

Two people were taken to the hospital Sunday, when a driver crashed into a pole in NE Portland.

According to police, at 2:45 a.m. they responded to a car that had crashed into a pole.

Police said they had to close the off ramp from I-205 south to eastbound Killingsworth due to the crash.

Two people were hurt, but there is no word this morning on their conditions.

Police have not released any information on the cause of the crash.

Police kept the street closed for hours until they could lift the pole off the car and remove it.
