A 33-year-old woman was killed Monday afternoon in a single-car crash on Greenbriar Road in St. Johns County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

About 5:30 p.m., a 2006 Nissan Altima hit a light pole at the intersection with Greenbriar Estates Road, near Bartram Trail High School.

Troopers said Stephanie Chalcraft, of Atlantic Beach, was the only person in the car and she died at the scene.

According to the FHP report, Chalcraft was wearing a seat belt and the airbags deployed.

The cause of the crash is under investigation, troopers said.
