Flagler County, FL : Motorcyclist killed in Flagler U.S. 1 crash on Sunday, 9th February, 2020

A Live Oak motorcyclist was killed early Sunday morning on U.S. 1 in Flagler County when he lost control after striking a raised concrete median, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The 36-year-old man, whose name has been withheld pending notification of next of kin, was riding a 2013 black Harley Davidson north just south of Matanzas Wood Parkway at 2:27 a.m. when he hit the median and collided with the roadway, the FHP said.

The rider was pronounced dead on the scene.
