Memphis, TN : One dead, one critical after crash in Binghampton on Sunday, March 5, 2017

A person is dead and another is critical after a crash in Binghampton.

Police said the crash happened just after 8:30 p.m. in the area of Hollywood Street and Sam Cooper Boulevard. A vehicle was struck head-on.

Two people were in the vehicle that was struck. The driver was pronounced dead, and the passenger was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Police said after the crash, a man and woman fled the scene, but were taken into custody shortly afterward.
